Irene McCoy Gaines Apartments
All 150 units in the 17-story building received updated HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. Additionally, every unit was given new flooring, paint, LED lights, kitchens and baths, and air conditioning and thermostats. New amenity spaces, such as a redesigned dining and community room, an exterior courtyard, and upgraded laundry spaces, were added. Internet connectivity and Wi-Fi were also upgraded in all common areas and units. As occupied rehab construction, the project was coordinated and carefully sequenced to ensure safe, smooth delivery with minimal interference with resident lives. Completed with JV partner Blackwood Group.
