HNI-Allsteel expanded its presence to Fulton Market to foster its premier furniture and manufacturing services in response to the ever-growing demand for workplace-planning solutions. The 24,000 SF showroom and office include several high-end finishes that immersively display furniture for customers and partners. Custom wood-slatted millwork outlines the “carved cafe,” which includes a bar with a quartz countertop. The millwork continues into the Pebble Garden—an elevated presentation space with a wood skeleton frame creating an amphitheater-like for up to 30 people. The project paid great attention to air quality, material selection, energy efficiency, wellness and environmental impact and is achieved LEED Silver and WELL certification.
