First Tee-Waveland Park

First Tee Greater Chicago extended it’s committment to improving youth’s lives through golf to Waveland Park in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. The first phase of the project was a 1,500 SF buildout in the park’s historic clock tower, which included an indoor golf simulator, the CEO’s office, a kids lounge, an exterior patio and general upgrades and restoration to the building. Phase 2 comprised 40,000 SF of exterior renovation—converting park land into three putting greens, a short game practice area, a pot bunker and three bays of hitting cages. The newly renovated facility allows First Tee to expand to full-day programming and reach hundreds of more kids through mentoring, tutoring, physical education, and character education.
