1100 W Fulton

This build-to-suit office and retail development in Fulton Market consisted of significant historical masonry preservation along with a new concrete structure and exterior glazing to achieve a dynamic blend of three- and five-story building sections, including a rooftop deck. The existing building was landmarked by the City of Chicago and Skender meticulously preserved the existing facade along three sides and collaborated with developer Fulton St. Companies and tenant Herman Miller to successfully complete the commercial building structure and interiors on schedule during the COVID pandemic.
